A report has been created to celebrate the progress, impact, and legacy of RAiSE in 2022/23.
RAiSE (Raising Aspirations in Science Education) is a programme of Education Scotland, The Wood Foundation, Scottish Government, and participating local authorities which empowers primary practitioners with the skills, confidence, and networks to develop and deliver motivating and engaging STEM experiences.
Laura McCafferty, National Education Officer, said:
“2022/23 was another busy year for the RAiSE network, welcoming new authorities and deepening our relationships with existing and exited regions.
“It is clear that our network of Primary Science Development Officers (PSDOs) is driving real and sustainable change in their regions and there were many highlights to draw from in this precis.
“We look forward to continued growth and impact in 2023/24.”
