The Wood Foundation will appoint a Programme Director to lead its flagship Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) which is delivered with hundreds of schools across Scotland.

Permanent Full-time Aberdeen (some home working)

Through YPI, each school is responsible for directing a £3000 YPI grant to a local charity through a unique programme of teamwork, research, and competition. YPI has a proven impact on personal, enterprise, employability, and citizenship skills.

The YPI Director will deliver, develop, and expand the reach of this multi million pound programme. To be a candidate of interest you will need to be deeply knowledgeable about Scotland’s secondary curriculum and the context in which schools work, have a working knowledge of the third sector, and be an extremely strong project/programme manager. You will also need to demonstrate innovative and creative approaches to programme delivery and development. This role also forms part of The Wood Foundation’s Leadership Team and will include additional strategic responsibilities within the organisation.
