The Wood Foundation Africa, in conjunction with its partners, is now considered the leading venture philanthropist in the tea industry in East Africa. In Rwanda we are achieving systemic and sustainable change for the tea industry through our Imbarutso industry-level programme, and now works in partnership with 13,000 smallholder tea farmers.
