The regional facilitation team is crucial to the success of YPI in Scotland.
We are currently looking to appoint a facilitator, on a contract basis, to support our 20 schools in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire realise the potential of the YPI programme.
The North-east Regional Facilitator will liaise with schools and directly manage three interventions supported by The Wood Foundation central team. These are:
- Programme Development Session: Meet with the school’s delivery team to develop plans for the school’s YPI programme for the year.
- Maximising Impact Session: Each school can draw upon an additional session to focus on a particular area of programme development.
- YPI Final Showcase: The facilitator will attend a school’s YPI Final Showcase and support the judging panel.
Alongside these interventions, the Regional Facilitator will be the key point of contact and support for schools within the region, as well as being responsible for some programme administration.
Experience of the education and/or third sector is desirable.
