The Wood Foundation is looking for a new Evaluation and Impact Lead to research and report on a wide range of information within an education context and with the approach to champion systemic change for Young People in Scotland, with the aim of developing and contributing to future strategies and framework.
Knowledge of the third sector or Education sector are preferable, as you will be working closely with the UK Director and Communications manager to move ‘from Stats to Story’ and enable the clear communication of your reports and findings internally and externally. Information must be accurate, timely, and trusted, to ensure evidence-based decisions are made and that investments are sustainable and effective and delivered to approved standards.
This role will also feature a collaborative aspect, liaising with remote programme teams closely, providing support and guidance for the learning programmes/areas of investment. To be successful in this role, you will require strong analytic and research skills, able to seek opportunities to improve knowledge base and promote good practice, whilst contributing to the creation of strong communication streams and updates.
A working knowledge of tools including: Otter.ai or other transcription applications, CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft business products, Canva, NVivo, and experience with PowerBI would support candidates being effective from the start in this role.
