Our programme activity is identified on a proactive basis, supporting strategic partners who can demonstrate their ability to deliver projects to scale and operate within our guiding principles.
Global Learning Partnerships (GLP)
GLP is a personal and career-long professional learning opportunity accredited by GTCS (General Teaching Council Scotland) in Global Education within Learning for Sustainability.
It is delivered by The Wood Foundation in partnership with Inspire Educate and Empower Rwanda and Redearth Education Uganda. Participants are exposed to a number of training interventions, including a four week overseas cultural placement. These are designed to enhance their knowledge, understanding and delivery of global education within the classroom, school and wider learning community.
Applications for GLP 2019 are being accepted from September 2018 to January 2019.
If you are interested and wish to apply, please contact info@thewoodfoundation.org.uk or download an application form here.
