The Wood Foundation Africa and Luxmi Tea Company acquired majority stakes in Gisovu Tea Company and Pfunda Tea Company, majority smallholder-supplied tea factories.
With an estimated total investment of $30m, we will support 7400 smallholder farmers with an array of services to maximise quality and yield, including a quality price premium above the Rwanda payment mechanism, as well as additional smallholder greenfield expansion.
