Proactively identifying projects and partners aligned to our values, The Wood Foundation has committed £80m million to large-scale and long-term projects which support economic development alongside education and research activities with private, public and education institutions.
With a particular focus on the North-east, investments within this area of activity are intended to support the economic stability and prosperity of the region. Following a four-decade dependency on North Sea oil and gas, we are investing in support of alternative avenues into employment, academia and education to ensure the region remains an attractive prospect to professionals and their families.
