Opportunity North East

A key area of investment for The Wood Foundation is Facilitating Economic and Education Development in Scotland (FEEDS).

Proactively identifying projects and partners aligned to our own values, TWF has now committed £45 million to large-scale and long-term projects which support economic development, education and research activities in Scotland with private, public and education institutions.

With a particular focus on the North East, investments within the FEEDS portfolio are intended to support the long-term economic stability and prosperity of the region. Following a four decade dependency on North Sea oil and gas, a finite resource, TWF seek to invest in support of alternative avenues into employment, academia and education to ensure Scotland and the North East remain an attractive prospect to professionals and their families.
